Are Tufito products safe?

Yes. All of our fragrances meet IFRA and RIFM standards, meaning they adhere to the highest safety standards in the industry. All Tufito fragrances are paraben-free, vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and petroleum-free. They are produced in accordance with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Aroma360 products meet the volatile organic compound (VOC) guidelines established by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and are free of any carcinogens as defined by the National Toxicology Institute (NTP), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

What is a cold air diffuser & how does it work?

A cool mist diffuser is an essential oil atomizing device that uses neither water nor heat, dispersing the aroma into the air as a fine, dry mist of nanoparticles. This means the diffuser actively filters the cool air from your space and then diffuses the oils into the air as an ultra-dry mist. Unlike diffusers that use heat or water, our diffusion technology produces a more potent and pure fragrance. Diffusing aromas with cool mist is the safest and cleanest way to fill a room with fragrance. This is because cool air does not dilute the aromatic oils, disperse unnecessary substances into the air, or leave any residue.

Can Tufito install my HVAC air freshener for me?

Absolutely! We have a team that handles the installation of air freshener systems for residential and commercial clients in Puerto Rico. However, most of our clients are able to complete the installation themselves in under an hour with the help of our experienced Technical Support team.

If you decide to work with an HVAC technician, we'd be happy to guide you step by step and help you get the job done.

Can Tufito Control come and change my scent? How much does it cost?

Most customers will find that topping up the oil is a simple process and doesn't require an HVAC technician. However, our Technical Support team is always available to assist you with maintenance, installation, and other services. They can also work with your HVAC technician to ensure proper maintenance during scheduled services.

The cost of an oil change will depend on the location and the number of units requiring an oil change or replacement. Contact us for more information about maintaining your machine.

How does the prepaid annual subscription work?

What is a prepaid subscription?

A prepaid subscription lets you prepay for a full year of product deliveries at a discounted rate compared to our monthly subscription plan. You'll receive the same premium products every month, but with added benefits for committing to a long-term plan.

How does a prepaid subscription work?

By choosing a prepaid subscription, you pay for the entire year at checkout and receive 12 months of deliveries at a discounted price. This is equivalent to getting 12 months for the price of 10, meaning you get 2 months free when you subscribe. By paying upfront, you save money compared to monthly payments and receive exclusive benefits, such as free shipping and special gifts.

What do I get with a prepaid subscription?

As a prepaid subscriber, you will receive:

  • 12 monthly deliveries of the premium product of your choice.
  • Free shipping on all deliveries.
  • An exclusive welcome kit with your first order, valued at $150.

Can I change the products included in my subscription?

Can I cancel or pause my prepaid subscription?

Prepaid subscriptions are non-refundable and cannot be canceled mid-term. However, if you need to pause your deliveries for any reason, you can contact our customer service team, and we'll be happy to help.

Can I switch to a monthly plan after signing up for a prepaid subscription?

Since the prepaid subscription is a one-time payment for a full year, you cannot switch to a monthly plan during your prepaid subscription period. You can choose to change your plan once your subscription period ends.

Will I be charged for shipping?

No, one of the benefits of the annual prepaid subscription is that shipping is completely free, which saves you even more money over the year.

What if I move or need to update my shipping address?

If you're moving or need to update your shipping information, simply log in to your account or contact our customer service team, and we'll update your details to ensure your products arrive at your new address.

Can I send a prepaid subscription to someone else?

Yes! You can send a prepaid subscription to a friend or loved one. Just make sure the shipping address is the intended recipient's. The recipient will enjoy 12 months of luxury products, but they won't be able to make any changes to the subscription, as you will be the account holder. The subscription will automatically renew after the 12-month period.

What are the payment options for a prepaid subscription?

You can pay for your prepaid subscription using the same methods as any other purchase on our site, with the exception of Shop Pay Installments , which is not available for the Prepaid Annual Subscription. The full annual amount will be charged at checkout.

Do they offer a monthly subscription?

Yes, we have monthly payment plans that include the cost of the diffuser. We also offer monthly oil plans, where you'll receive automatic shipments of your favorite oils, so you never have to worry about running out of your preferred scent!

3. Diffusers

What is the difference between a cold air diffuser and other diffusers?

A cool mist diffuser uses cool mist diffusion technology, the safest and most effective way to disperse essential oils. Unlike other diffusers, cool mist diffusers don't require heat or water to release the aroma into the air as a dry, nanoparticle mist. Essential oils are very delicate and volatile, and when heated, their therapeutic benefits are destroyed. Furthermore, aromas diffused using methods involving heat or water don't disperse well over large areas or last as long.

Does your system only work with central air conditioning?

Tufito offers two types of diffusers with cool air technology. Our portable diffuser line can operate in any environment and plugs into a standard electrical outlet. These diffusers do not require a central air conditioning system. On the other hand, our HVAC units do require a central air conditioning system to operate and disperse the fragrance through the ductwork of your home or business.

Does your system only work with cooling air conditioners?

No. Our diffusers can also be used with the fan or heating setting on your central air conditioning system. Warm air will provide a slightly more intense fragrance experience, so we recommend reducing the intensity.

What is cold air diffusion technology?

Cold air diffusion is the most advanced technology in the aromatherapy industry. It is the safest and most effective way to disperse aromatic oils. It works by using large quantities of filtered cold air, combined with air pressure, to diffuse the oils into a dry mist of nanoparticles. This cold air diffusion technology is used in all Tufito diffusion systems and ensures consistent and subtle aromatherapy.

How high should I set the intensity?

The recommended intensity for aromatization should be between 25-35%. For a lighter intensity, we suggest a range of 10-15%, and for a stronger intensity, we recommend 60%.

What is the difference between a standalone diffuser and an HVAC diffuser?

A standalone diffuser plugs into an outlet and works anywhere there's an electrical outlet. An HVAC unit connects to your air conditioning system and provides even, consistent coverage throughout a home or building.

What is the best location for a diffuser?

This is a personal decision. At Tufito, we recommend placing your diffuser in the main area of ​​your home. If you're using one of our standalone diffusers, place it where you'd most like to enjoy the aroma. If you're using one of our diffusers connected to your HVAC system, the aroma will be dispersed evenly throughout the area covered by the HVAC system.

How do HVAC aroma systems work?

Aromatherapy through the HVAC system works using cold air diffusion technology. This technology breaks down aromatic oils into a dry, nanoparticle mist using cool, filtered air. This dry fragrance mist is released into the HVAC system ducts, providing a consistent and uniform aroma experience in the desired areas.

What type of service or maintenance is required?

No service or maintenance is required for the diffusers. The only requirement is to change or refill the fragrance cartridge once it is empty, which usually happens once a month. It is recommended to add a little alcohol every two months and operate the diffuser for about 15 minutes, or whenever you change the fragrance.

Can I lay my device at an angle or horizontally?

When the oil cartridge is inside the unit, it should always be in an upright position to prevent the oil from damaging the internal components of the unit.

Do I need to have my HVAC unit on all the time?

For the HVAC diffuser to work, the fan must be on at all times. During cooler weather, set your central air conditioning unit's fan to the ON position (instead of AUTO ) to ensure the fragrance is distributed throughout your home or business.
